When you call The Scottish Shutter Company, a real person answers. No phone menus, no press-one-for-this, no chatbot. Just a friendly voice, ready to listen and point you in the right direction.
We think this matters. Choosing shutters or shading for your home is a considered decision, and the first thing you deserve is a proper conversation with someone who is genuinely pleased you called.
Whoever picks up, you will always get a warm welcome and a straight answer.
When you will reach us
Our lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. During those hours you will almost always get straight through to a real person.
On the rare occasion that all our lines are busy, or if you call outside office hours, just leave us a message and we will call you back as soon as we can.

They will listen, take a few details, and make sure your enquiry reaches the right member of our team.
No pressure, ever
We do not do hard sell. Our job is to help you make the right choice, in your own time.
We follow up properly
One of our designers will be in touch to answer your questions and, if you would like, arrange a visit.
What they can answer, and what they will pass on
The team who answer our phones have our knowledge base in front of them, so most questions get a proper answer there and then, rather than a promise to find out.
What they will not do is guess. They are not technical people and they are not asked to be. When a question needs a specialist, they take the details and pass it to the right person. Behind them sit some of the most experienced technical people in the industry, and we would rather you had the right answer from one of them than a quick one on the phone.
For a first enquiry there is usually one answer, and you can save yourself a step by having it ready: a photo of the window, rough sizes, and what you are trying to achieve. That is enough for us to come back with an indicative price before anyone visits.

My free time mostly goes on my family and friends, reformer pilates, and a cat who I am fairly sure does not like me very much. Which only makes me love him more.

I enjoy anything outdoors, especially horse riding, I am a big country music fan, and I love spending time with my dogs.

I have not long moved house, I have a wonderful three-year-old daughter and a toy poodle named Asher, and on my days off you will find me with family and friends.

I am the friendly voice at the other end of the phone, here to listen and to help. In my spare time I enjoy holidays with my husband and my friends, and visits from my grown-up children.

I love to keep busy with fun plans, spending time with friends and travelling. I have had a pug called Lola since I was eleven and she is the love of my life. My current hobby is pilates.

I am happiest spending time with my two young boys, who always keep me on my toes. In my free time I love travelling, eating out, going to concerts and planning for my upcoming wedding.
