On a few island locations we serve you supply only instead, with a virtual measure and video call support through the fit.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover all of Scotland?
Yes. We cover the whole of Scotland, from the Borders to the Highlands and Islands, plus the far north of England around Newcastle and Carlisle. Most of that is measure and fit by our own team. On a few island locations the sensible answer is supply only, with a virtual measure and video call support through the fit, so tell us your postcode and we will tell you which applies.
Is there a charge for home consultations outside the main cities?
Home consultations in and around Dundee, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Glasgow are included at no extra cost. For locations beyond these areas, we ask for a site visit fee from £500 to cover travel. This is fully refundable against any order placed within three months of your consultation, so if you go ahead, the visit costs you nothing.
Do you use subcontractors in areas far from your studios?
No. Every installation is carried out by our own trained team. We do not use subcontractors anywhere in Scotland. This means you get the same quality of workmanship whether you are five minutes from our studio or five hours away.
Can I visit a Design Studio instead of having a home visit?
Yes. Our Edinburgh Design Studio at 67 Ratcliffe Terrace is open by appointment, and our brand new Dundee Design Studio at Luna Place opens late May 2026. Both studios have full size working displays of shutters and blinds, with materials to browse and expert guidance in person.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes. If a home visit or studio visit is not convenient, we offer video consultations where we can discuss your requirements, show you options, and provide initial guidance. Call us on 0800 086 2989 to arrange one.
