Every project follows the same considered path. We handle each stage ourselves, from the first conversation through to the fitters demonstrating your finished shutters and blinds. Here is exactly what to expect.
Get in touch
Start with a conversation. Call us, email, or book an appointment at one of our Design Studios. If you send a few photos of your windows with rough sizes, we can give you an early indication of cost before anything else.
Your consultation
Meet one of our window shading specialists, either at our Edinburgh or Dundee Design Studio by appointment, or at home with no obligation. Our specialists are salaried and never paid commission, so the advice is about the right product for your home, not a sale.
Measurements and a clear quotation
We take precise measurements and help you choose the style, material, and colour for each room. You receive a written quotation with a fixed price for the complete installation and no hidden costs.
Installation by our own team
Our own employed fitters carry out every installation. We never use subcontractors. Most installations are completed in a single day, and every shutter or blind is checked, adjusted, and demonstrated to you before we leave.
Aftercare and our 5-Year Promise
We stand behind our work. For the first year after installation there is no charge for anything related to our workmanship, and every installation is backed by our 5-Year Perfect Fit Promise. If anything ever needs attention, the office finds the quickest way to put it right: often a phone call, sometimes a part, sometimes a fitter.
Why this matters
The same people, from first measure to final adjustment
We are a design studio, not a shop, and we have no salespeople. The specialist who measures your windows is salaried, so there is no commission riding on your decision. The fitters who install your shutters are our own employed team, the same names from the consultation through to any adjustment years later.
