Living in some of the remoter parts of Scotland or on our Islands is just a dream for most of the population.
However, in speaking with clients from these parts, we know that getting great products with a service to match can be challenging.
For most companies, us included, it’s unlikely to be commercially viable to drive for hours or jump on a ferry to come and visit you at home.
Although, for some more extensive projects, we’ve done precisely that.
We were on Orkney in April this year measuring some very large and complex windows.
But we have something that may be of interest to you.
Something which was borne out of necessity when, during the recent pandemic, we couldn’t even visit our local clients in Central Scotland.
And that was the virtual video call.
With a virtual call, you can speak with one of our experts and discuss your shading challenges – rooms too hot or too cold – the sun bleaching your soft furnishing or a little more privacy is required.
All of this and more can be covered in a virtual call.
We already have clients in the far north of mainland Scotland and the Islands who have used this service.
Of course, we still can’t get to you to measure or fit. That bit will need to be done by you or by one of your tradespeople.
However, we provide complete online, video and telephone call support for you and whoever will be measuring and fitting your shading systems.
We realise this is not our gold service where we offer a full measure, design and installation service.
But it’s the next best thing.
We love a challenge.
Because we design many of our products, we can create something bespoke for you.
Your video calls will be with either David Browne or David D’Ambrosio – (David B and David D, we like to call them)
David B is the Company’s co-founder and has been in the window shading industry for over thirty-five years. He is an engineer to trade and is responsible for producing all our detailed drawings on our in-house Computer Aided Design System.
David D has been with the Company for over twenty years and is our expert in shading system motorisation.
He is the current President of our national association, The British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA). He is the Association’s go-to person for all things window shutters.
