Product of The Month – February – Cuba Shutters
Our Cuba range blends premium hardwood panels and eco-friendly engineered wood composite (EWC) frames for a more accessible and luxurious range of wood shutters.
The shutter panels are custom crafted from 100% hardwood using premium quality timbers from qualified sustainable sources.
The specialised hardwood makes the shutter panels lighter, allowing multiple hinged panels (up to four)mounted to robust EWC frames, making this range an ideal solution for larger windows.
Frames and Panels:
Cuba has a choice of three mounting frames.
Stiles:
With Cuba, you can choose a flat or beaded stile.
These engineered stiles are reinforced using multiple layers of wood bonded together, ensuring that the panel does not twist or warp.
Louvres:
Cuba is available in 47mm, 63mm, 76mm, and 89mm elliptical louvres.
Special Shapes:
Cuba cannot be used for shaped windows.
Colour palette:
There are a total of 12 colours available. However, you can choose a custom colour at an additional cost. The standard colours are

Tilt Rods:
Tilt rods are the vertical rods used to tilt the louvres. The tilt rod can be centrally placed in each panel offset to one side. As an option, you can choose not to have a tilt rod with our Silent Tilt option.
Installation Styles
Full Height
Your shutters would cover the full height of your window.
Cafe Style
Your shutters would cover only the lower portion of your window, giving you privacy and light control but leaving the top part uncovered to maximise light where privacy is not required.
Tracked Shutters
Bi-Fold
For larger openings such as an expansive patio door, your shutters can be suspended from a top track and hinged together in a bi-fold configuration to allow you to fold them back to the end of the track at 90° or 180°.
This is perfect for patio doors, wardrobes or as a room divider.
By-Pass
With By-Pass, your shutters are suspended from a top track, and the panels slide behind or in front of one another to open or close.
