The Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition is organised by Scotland's biggest selling home interest magazine,
Homes & Interiors Scotland. Each issue features stunning lavishly photographed homes, interior design, architecture, property, art, news, views and exciting new concepts. It has been awarded 'Magazine of the Year' and picked up the much coveted 'UK Magazine of The Year' award at the PPA's Independent Publishers Awards.

Back for the 6th year running, the Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition is now well established and a key date in the diary of design conscious individuals from Scotland and afar.

Relishing a challenge, plans are well underway to make the 2010 show even more stunning. The Homes & Interiors Scotland Exhibition 2010 will present the strongest roll call of high quality interior and design companies presented together under one roof.

The even will run over three days - Fri 27th, Sat 28th & Sun 29th Aug 2010.

The Scottish Shutter Company is Expanding! As part of an ambitious growth strategy we are recruiting key staff to deliver our outstanding product to homes and businesses across Scotland.

The Scottish Shutter Company is a family run business which has been supplying high quality interior timber plantation shutters and specialist window shading products throughout Scotland over the last 25 years.

Do you feel that your high standards of workmanship are currently undervalued? Do you have an ethos of always providing excellent customer care? Are you willing to work until the job is finished, maintaining levels of service with humour and energy?

If this sounds like you, we should meet! We are looking for only the best people in the industry. You may have experience of installing products into homes and offices but this is not essential. 17th March 2009:-
We were delighted when the BBC contacted us through our association with The Scottish Family Business Association. They had heard that we were indeed a very successful small Scottish family business and thought that our story was worthy of a slot at 7:50am on no less than BBC1 Breakfast TV!!!

We have had a fantastic start to the year with our best ever January, February and March on record in 23 years so we really have "bucked the trend" and feel incredibly proud that our hard work and efforts to ensure we are the leaders in the Scottish Shutter industry did not go unnoticed.

The article was obviously watched by many people and the response we have had since has been amazing. Too many people have told us how dissatisfied they have been in the past with other shutter suppliers and crying out for a piece of The Scottish Shutter Company as they saw on Breakfast TV.

Colin and Justin also picked up on us and featured us in this week's Sunday Mail and once again the response has been wonderful.

18th February 2009:-
We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Master Partner status by S:Craft, the leading distributor of interior plantation shutters in the UK. There are only a handful of Master Partners throughout the whole of the UK. This is in recognition of our technical expertise and experience in dealing with unusual or shaped windows, bay windows, French doors and a whole host of other window types coupled with our professional service.

1st July 2009:-
We have a great selection of shutters on display in our showroom (including a bay window, sash and case window, arched shutters, sun burst shutters, solid panels and tracked system) which our clients tell us certainly helped them in the decision making process. Their visit to the showroom assured them of the quality, enthusiasm and professionalism of the whole family at The Scottish Shutter Company.

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new remote control shutters. Given more and more clients are looking to automate the products in their homes, this is a fantastic addition to our custom made plantation shutter collection.

Our fully integrated remote option allows users to perfectly control individual louvre panels or align multiple panels simultaneously. Motors are integrated within each panel and their smooth quiet operation delivers advanced light control via numerous pre-set louvre angles.
