When it comes to specialist knowledge, The Scottish Shutter Company has over 25 years' experience in coming up with aesthetic, creative solutions to the most challenging of window dilemmas. We are Scotland’s largest independent family shutter business and are very proud of our long heritage in the window shading business.  We are husband and wife, David and June, and along with our daughter and son-in-Law (Judith and David) and our niece Larah, we supply and install interior timber plantation shutters throughout the whole of Scotland and the North of England for domestic and commercial clients.

We have accumulated rich technical expertise in dealing with unusual sized or shaped-windows, as well as the more familiar bay, bow, dormer, tilt and turn and sash and case windows to name but a few.

The Scottish Shutter Company is a true family business. From initial enquiry and site visit to final installation and after sales service, two generations of our Dundee-based family contribute our talents exclusively, employing no trades people or contractors whatsoever. So, whether it is mum, dad, daughter, son-in-law or niece, each one of us shares family pride in providing the highest level of service to all of our customers.
